In the morning, from the small Orosei port, which is a 5-minute drive from the Hotel S’ortale, at about 9:30 a.m., we set off on a boat excursion to visit the beaches of the Gulf, a fantastic alternation of coves, inlets and sheer cliffs. Looking at this coast from the sea is perhaps one of the most beautiful spectacles that nature, already generous, has given to this island.

The staff of S’ortale propose the trip by dinghy because it is more personal, you have the opportunity to interact directly with the skipper and you can decide to swim off the coast, in a clear shimmering sea, even far from the coast. A fascinating guided tour of the Bue Marino caves, where you can admire the wonders of a natural ravine where monk seals used to swim.
The first stop, which is approximately 40 minutes long, will be at the beautiful “Cala Goloritzè” where you will swim from the dinghy. The mini-cruise starts from here, for us to visit the most beautiful beaches of our Gulf when we return. The second stop includes a visit to “Cala delle Sorgenti” and the “Calettino del Pescatore”. The tour also includes a stop at “Cala Mariolu” beach, which you will leave at about 12.30 pm. The excursion continues with a visit to the “Grotta Rossa” (Red Grotto), which is visible to our passengers from the dinghy, at the end of which you can see a small beach, wonderfully shaded by colours ranging from red to purple to emerald. Don’t miss swimming in the “Piscine di Venere”, the turquoise water of this corner of paradise will envelop you, giving you a feeling of relaxation (duration of stop about 40 minutes). The next stop will be at the “Cala Biriola” beach, at about 1.30 p.m.; here our guests can relax for an hour and a half, and then leave at 3.00 p.m. in the direction of “Cala Luna” at about 4.00 p.m.For those who want a visit to the Bue Marino cave. The last stop at the Cala Luna beach. Collaboration with the Oltremare company. The staff of S’ortale, thanks to the collaboration with the company, will provide its guests with offers and discounts on the prices of excursions.
